8/18/18 was a day to remember. The Knot said over 30,000 weddings were photographed and billions of dollars were spent that day alone in the wedding industry.
We walked in the getting ready room at the old Paper Raddison downtown Appleton, and Cathy was getting her hair done. I remember she had the most beautiful smile, and she was beaming! It was *finally* HER wedding day. Two of the bridesmaids helped me bring their gorgeous blue dresses out for some detail shots. I asked how Cathy was doing and her maid of honor said she was so excited and ready for her big day!
After detail shots, Tom, Cathys father was getting ready for the daddy/ daughter first look.
This was SUCH a precious sight to see. Cathy came out, and turned her dad around. Instantly tears filled both of their eyes and her father took his cell phone out to get an iPhone shot of this moment. They both hugged and cried.
We did the beautiful bridesmaid photos, then the groomsman shots and they were all having such a blast!
Then 2:30 rolled around and it was time to get Travis and Cathy married! They performed a tying the knot ceremony which was so beautiful along with a rose ceremony. This was the time where they both mentioned they lost it! Their parents were such an inspiration and have helped them through so much.
The rest of the evening was so much fun. So many tears and laughter. So much FUN and dancing. Cathy and Travis were so so perfect. Thank you two so much for allowing me to be part of your perfect day. Have fun in Door County you two!!
