Cristal and Jason came to me and found me through nothing but pure chance! When we hopped on the call for the first time it was I knew seriously it was going to be a perfect match. These two are SO in love. They got married legally a year ago during covid in a more intimate set up and decided to proceed with their 2021 full on wedding / vow renewal this past weekend! I’m SO glad they did and I’m just so excited to be back shooting weddings again! 🍾
Tyler, I and the boys drove up to St. Louis on Thursday evening and met up with my brother who lives in KC! They met us in St. Louis to have a wonderful weekend vaca with us and take care of the boys while we shot the wedding Saturday (SO NICE!).
A week or two ago, Cristal and I were talking because it was forecasting to rain the day of the wedding. Most brides have that same worry, I assured her – everything will be 100% OK. It will be perfect no matter what! Saturday arrived and ALL the rain was gone! We had a GORGEOUS wedding day outside and the sun peeked out right during portrait time for amazing sunset glowy photos!!! 😍 We all (including the usher!) kept saying THIS LIGHT IS AMAZING!!! YESSSSS it was just that! absolutely perfect.
These two met for the first time on a mission trip and their love for foreign travel was evident in many ways and they themed their entire reception on this love of travel. They had each table name a country in the world and the most perfect seating chart telling people, “Where in the world” they were sitting! SO amazing. These two will be heading to Costa Rica for their honeymoon and I am just so excited to see where they go next.
Jason and Cristal, what an HONOR it was for us to be a part of your day. You two are so special and I can’t wait to see all the places you both go in life!! <3
