reserve your date
It's probably no surprise that in this season, weddings, like everything else, often look a bit different.
But just because your celebration plans need to shift a bit doesn't mean that your love isn't worth celebrating. It most certainly is. In a world that threatens to overwhelm us at times, you found one another. You fell in love and you made the decision to profess to the world that this is it.
And whether you're planning to walk down the aisle surrounded by family and friends or you're planning something more intimate, we believe that your love deserves to be captured. Your story is a joyful one and we would be honored to tell it.
Lenses? Check. Sanitizer? Double check.
We pride ourselves on paying attention to the COVID-19 guidelines set by the CDC as well as the local state and township guidelines.
You can expect our team members to take the following precautions:
• Washing or sanitizing hands frequently
• Practicing social distancing where possible
• Monitoring our health daily

Ashlea was the best to work with! We needed a last minute photographer due to changing venues and moving our big wedding to a smaller wedding because of COVID and Ashlea was better than we could have ever expected. She was able to work with our time frame and even though it was a smaller wedding , she went above and beyond to do help the day of (like picking up our bouquets at the venue before for the pics). She made us feel comfortable during the photos and did an amazing job of capturing our intimate wedding. We love all of our pictures and can’t say enough good things about Ashlea!!
A micro wedding typically includes a smaller guest list (up to 50 guests). Even though the guest count is smaller, this type of wedding is often planned. Many couples choose choose to spend their full wedding budget - just on fewer people. Think: beautiful wedding dresses, elegant florals, candlelight dinners and open bars.
couples who want an elaborate wedding with a smaller guest list
A minimony is even smaller than a microwedding and typically includes no more than ten guests. Although smaller, minimonies typically include many of the traditions found at a larger wedding. Think: a commitment ceremony, florals, a catered meal, beautiful portraits. Many couples who plan minimonies are choosing to celebrate with a sequel wedding at a later time.
couples who want to celebrate their union with close family & friends
After a minimony, many couples are choosing to host the traditional wedding they were planning (pre-COVID). Think: a packed dance floor, a bridal party, a larger number of guests.
couples who have married but who still want the big party
This is probably already a term you're familiar with. A couple can't wait to be married and they want to skip the traditional ceremony, so they find a witness and someone to conduct the ceremony. Think: Pam & Jim at Niagra Falls in The Office. These days, elopements might be spur of the moment but they may also be planned. Romantic locations, beautiful attire and intimate images of the two of you.

"She helped our day go so so smoothly from start to end with her amazing organization skills! She helped all of our awkward groomsmen feel so comfortable for pictures. I couldn't have asked for a better girl for the job."
We know postponing a wedding is not an easy decision. If you find yourself in this situation, we ask that you let us know ASAP so that we can work together to find you a new wedding date. All rescheduled dates for Fall 2021 or 2022 must choose a Friday or a Sunday date in order to avoid paying an additional retainer. If you choose to reschedule your wedding for a new Saturday, we will need to charge an additional retainer fee.
Should we be unavailable on a new date, we will do our best to help connect you with a photographer who is available. The retainer you paid to reserve our time will not be refundable but can be put towards a future portrait session.
If you would like us to take a COVID test prior to your wedding, we are happy to do so. Send us an email to learn more about COVID testing and the cost involved with a test.
We are fortunate to be a part of an incredible community of local photographers. Should we find out that we are sick before your wedding, we will reach out to our community and do our best to find a replacement photographer with a similar style to ours.
Unfortunately due to our shooting schedule, it is not possible for us to fully quarantine for two weeks prior to your wedding day. However we will do our very best to limit our exposure to others and take all necessary precautions on your day.
We know that choosing to canceling a wedding is not an easy decision. If you find yourself in this situation, we ask that you let us know ASAP. The retainer you paid to reserve our time will not be refundable but can be put towards a future portrait session.
I typically shoot 50-70 images per hour. We will never withhold images from you, so our thought process is we will edit and hand back any image that you look absolutely amazing in! We do believe also in quality over quantity which is why you'll only receive the ones you look amazing in!
For video our typical smaller wedding video collections include a ceremony presentation and also a 3-5 minute highlight video.
Like just about everything in this season, your wedding day coverage will look a little bit different. We'll respect any all all of your desires.
We will listen to hear what is the most important parts of your intimate wedding and make sure everything you want is photographed.
While coverage will look a bit different, our clients will not notice a difference in the quality of the images we produce on their wedding day. If you would like to see a wedding photographed during the pandemic, just send us an email!
