Up here in Wisconsin, or we could call it the Arctic Circle, its been nothing other than COLD. I can’t even believe people like being out in this weather! I for one, strange I know, secretly lovvveeee it! I think it has something to do with me growing up down south and lets be honest, it struggled a little to get to zero degrees, and if it did it never snowed! Let me put this in my perspective…. if its going to be COLD it is mandatory that it SNOWS, and it better snow good! This was why it was SO exciting to do a maternity session in the snow! Yes, it was freezing, BUT do you see these photos?? oh my goodness, the snow speaks for itself! You can’t tell that we were all shivering in the cold, because Karen and Ben KILLED it! 

A few months ago when I found out that Ben and Karen were expecting I was ecstatic! I photographed Ben and Karen’s wedding two years ago! I can’t believe I am saying that! time really flies by! But the first time I met these two, they instantly became sweet friends. Karen is such a precious soul, and Ben adores Karen! I love watching my couples grow together, and grow as a family, and it was so special for me that they asked me to do their maternity photos. There is just something special about that to me! 

I am thrilled for Karen and Ben, and I know they are anxiously awaiting the sweet baby to come in February! Until then, you can stare at their maternity photos, and think “How can a pregnant lady be so gorgeous!” yes… I wondered that too!
