I grew up in sweet, southern South Carolina! I’m a southern girl, through and through!
I’ve been married since 05.09.14. (Best. Day. Ever.)
I have a sweet five year old boy, David Elijah III and a 16 month old, Carter Bennett! I LOVE being a boy momma!
I started this business in 2015 while I was in college in Knoxville, TN.
I am the lead photographer, email writer, blogger and editor. I also have an amazing team that serves along side me as associates, second shooters and virtual assistants.
I travel all over photographing weddings and some of my favorite places I have been is Texas, Florida and Mexico, Switzerland and Jamaica!
I shoot 15 weddings annually.
I’m slightly obsessed with coffee. I love it a - latte! :)
I love creating beautiful images but more importantly, I love serving couples on one of the greatest days of their lives!!

I'm married to that gorgeous girl above, and love working alongside her!
I am the lead videographer, and just joined Ashlea's team officially in 2019! (Although, let's be honest I've been a part since the beginning with all the crazy things she has always had me do!)
I've also travelled all over the world with Ashlea and we love adventuring together. I've been doing video work for about 10 years and I've been excited to implement my creative eye into a photo/video team with my wife!
I’m a sweet tea guy, through and through. My wife says I need to drink more water but I mean tea is 99% water, right?

These pics were magazine worthy, no joke.

how many images do i get?
We average 50-60 images perfected images per hour that I am shooting. I love delivering my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I were in your shoes!

my shooting style
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the
wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) I teach my couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from me!

DO YOU BRING YOUR OWN LIGHTING? MY RECEPTION IS A DARKER BALLROOM, BUT I STILL WANT THE PHOTOS BRIGHT!
This is such a great question, and for a short answer its YES! I bring my entire lighting set up with me to every single wedding, with back up lighting in case something were to happen. 99% of my wedding reception photos are used with flash, along with quite a bit of my detail shots. I am trained to work in any lighting situation.

when will i see my entire wedding gallery?
This is a fantastic question! So most photographers mention that it will be 4-6 weeks. I will deliver your entire wedding gallery within 2 weeks!

i'm not photogenic, will my images still look good?
I absolutely love this question because I pride myself on making my clients look and feel absolutely incredible during the entire process. This is one of the reasons I love to personally meet you all during the engagement session and get to know you as much as possible. The more comfortable you feel, the more you will shine! My posing is directed but flowy posing and I know you will truly love the photos from your engagement session and your wedding.

Do you shoot film?
Yes! I am a hybrid photographer and pride myself in shooting Film and Digital. If you would like Film used on your wedding day, there is an additional cost of $950 for the use of Medium Format Film. We shoot on Contax Cameras and use Portra 400 Film.
